The designs are deeply influenced by everyday landscapes created by nature that catch the designer's eye, as well as her multicultural background.
Since Spring/Summer 2018, the brand has been creating new frontiers in jewelry using new materials.

Born in Gunma Prefecture to a Taiwanese mother and Japanese father, she grew up surrounded by nature. The ethnic sensibilities cultivated during her childhood, spent largely in Taiwan, and the strong influence of modernism and vintage styles from her teenage years after moving to Los Angeles, are evident in her work.
Established R.ALAGAN in 2016. She creates jewelry uncompromisingly with Japanese jewelry artisans.
