Born in Gunma Prefecture to a Taiwanese mother and a Japanese father, she grew up surrounded by nature. The ethnic sensibilities she developed during her extensive childhood in Taiwan, combined with the strong influence of modernism and vintage styles after moving to Los Angeles during her adolescence, shaped her designs.
Established R.ALAGAN in 2016.
She creates jewelry without compromise, working with Japanese jewelry artisans.
