Born in Gunma Prefecture to a Taiwanese mother and a Japanese father, she grew up surrounded by nature. Her ethnic sensibilities were cultivated during her childhood, which she largely spent in Taiwan, and she was strongly influenced by modernism and vintage styles after moving to Los Angeles during her adolescence.
Established R.ALAGAN in 2016.
She creates jewelry with uncompromising craftsmanship alongside Japanese jewelry artisans.
