Born in Gunma Prefecture to a Taiwanese mother and a Japanese father, she grew up surrounded by nature. The ethnic sensibilities cultivated during her childhood spent largely in Taiwan and the strong influence of modernism and vintage styles acquired after moving to Los Angeles during adolescence are evident in her work.
Established R.ALAGAN in 2016.
She creates jewelry in collaboration with Japanese jewelry artisans, without compromise.
