Born in Gunma Prefecture to a Taiwanese mother and Japanese father, she grew up surrounded by nature. Her ethnic sensibilities were cultivated during her childhood in Taiwan, and upon moving to Los Angeles during adolescence, she was strongly influenced by modernism and vintage aesthetics.
Established R.ALAGAN in 2016. She creates uncompromising jewelry with Japanese jewelry artisans.
