About
Established in Copenhagen in 2017, Tekla was born from a desire to bring modernity and freedom of expression to the homeware category. Taking inspiration from art and architecture, most notably John Pawson, Donald Judd, Le Corbusier and Agnes Martin, it creates elevated yet functional homeware pieces that centre a timeless, straightforward design expression.
2017年にコペンハーゲンで設立されたTeklaは、ホームウェアのカテゴリーに現代性と自由な表現をもたらしたいという願いから生まれた。ジョン・ポーソン、ドナルド・ジャッド、ル・コルビュジエ、アグネス・マーティンをはじめとするアートや建築からインスピレーションを受け、時代を超越したストレートなデザイン表現を中心に、高貴でありながら機能的なホームウェアを生み出している。
