Products sewn in the UK were primarily constructed with single-pass felled seams using feed-off-the-arm machines. Since these machines are not available at the new American factory, single-needle machines are used, resulting in a somewhat flatter and more refined seam. On the other hand, the seams are finished with two sewing processes, judged by eye, so the stitch lines are not perfectly uniform, and this slight unevenness adds a handcrafted touch.
