The fabric is cut on the cross grain, with no side seams. The shoulder line slopes backward from the center of the neck, continuing to the back of the armhole, and then connects to the sleeve seam that runs along the back of the sleeve to the cuff. This cutting method is reminiscent of 18th- and 19th-century dress coats, where the sloping shoulder line creates a cleaner look at the front, and the slight bias allows the fabric to conform smoothly over the interlining. The shirt is cut with a deeply rounded tail, and all seams are sewn with cotton thread. It is finished with metal buttons wrapped in dyed cotton and a "Made in USA" blue label.

・LOGWOOD・
Logwood (also known as bloodwood) is a tree native to the West Indies and South America. For centuries, the Aztec and Mayan civilizations used logwood to create purple and black dyes. When brought to Europe by the Spanish in the 15th century, its value was highly appreciated. In the 1570s, Elizabeth I of England ordered privateers to capture Spanish logwood shipments, intensifying tensions between the two countries, which ultimately led to the destruction of the Spanish Armada in 1588.
*Like other natural dyes, logwood's color fastness is less stable than modern synthetic dyes. Therefore, phenomena such as color transfer, unevenness, mottling, or fading are considered desirable characteristics.

-TENDER Co.-
TYPE 457 FROCK SHIRT
COL : GREY LOGWOOD
SIZE : 4
MATERIAL : COTTON 100%
MADE IN USA

《Shoulder Width・Sleeve Length・Back Length・Body Width》
SIZE:4ー54cm・67cm・83cm・62cm

・About TENDER Co. MADE IN USA・
In 2024, TENDER Co. moved its base and production from Gloucestershire, England, to Pennsylvania, USA. To avoid long-distance operations, new seasonal garments are now sewn near the new base. While design and pattern cutting continue to be done in-house, each country of production has its own unique character and features. We believe that by having design and manufacturing in parallel at the same location, more consistent and refined products can be created.
One reason for the distinctive texture of TENDER Co. garments is the selection of sewing machines used. Products sewn in England were primarily crafted with a single-pass flat-felled seam using feed-off-the-arm machines. Since these machines are not available at the new American factory, single-needle machines are used for sewing, resulting in a slightly flatter and more refined seam. On the other hand, because seams are finished in two sewing stages with visual guidance, the stitch lines are not perfectly uniform, and this slight unevenness adds a handcrafted touch. Garments made in the USA come with a blue size label woven in.

【TENDER Co.】
DESIGNER：William Krol
He served as a designer for the European line of EVISU jeans, Euro EVISU Jeans, then studied tailoring techniques at Savile Row in England, and learned denim production in Kojima, Okayama Prefecture. Currently, he teaches denim classes at Central Saint Martins, a fashion school in England. Patterns are drawn by designer William, sewing is done in England, and dyeing is performed in France and England.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0733/3104/8757/files/DSCF6035_dfceb710-c8d1-49da-b7dc-9c72a274a95f.jpg?v=1780062955
